RCP Can — Advanced Heater Remote Control

RCP Can module

RCP Can is an interface module between Ford factory equipped fuel-fired heater (FFH)
and control device. It allows to connect almost any convenient remote control to FFH.

RCP Can uses permanent or quick (plug-n-play) connection to the wiring
and controls the heater via CAN-bus.

Original Ford buttons blocks

 To control the heater from original button, it is needed new block of buttons, contained the button which is not used
in vehicle's configuration. This possible in the case, if the car has no at least one of these options:

  • Heated Windscreen (left buttons block)
  • Rear Park Assist (right buttons block)
  • Active Park Assist (right buttons block)
  • Start-Stop System (right buttons block)



    Various blocks of buttons available for purchase as an option. The buttons have a standard backlight
    and built-in LED. Important! It is not allowed to connect to RCP module a button that is already used in the car.


    Ford original button Original left buttons block with "Windscreen Heating" and "Rear Glass Heating" logo. The block can be installed instead of the block with "Rear Glass Heating" button only.

    Original right buttons block with "Active Park Assist" and "Rear Park Assist" logo. It can be installed instead of the double block or instead of the single block with "Active Park Assist" button or "Rear Park Assist" button. Ford original button


    Heater button is used to easily start and stop the heater, with one touch boost heat mode control and easy to
    adjustment the functions of the module. Button and LED functions:

  		• One-time boost disable

  		• Button pressing confirmation by LED
  		• LED indication of the boost heat mode
