Autoplugin RCP — Advanced Heater Remote Control

Autoplugin RCP module

Autoplugin RCP is interface module between Ford factory equipped fuel-fired heater (FFH)
and control device. It allows to connect almost any convenient remote control to FFH.

Autoplugin RCP uses permanent or quick (plug-n-play) connection to the wiring
and controls the heater via CAN-bus.

Original Ford Buttons Blocks

 To control the heater from original button, it is needed to install a new block of buttons, which contains the button, not used
in vehicle's configuration. This possible in case, if the car has no one of options:

  • Heated Windscreen (left buttons block)
  • Rear Park Assist (right buttons block)
  • Active Park Assist (right buttons block)
  • Start-Stop System (right buttons block)



    Various blocks of buttons are available for purchase optionally. The buttons have standard backlight
    and built-in LED. Important! It is not possible connect to RCP a button that is already used in the car.


    Ford original button Original left buttons block contains "Windscreen Heating" and "Rear Glass Heating" buttons. The block should be installed instead of the block contained "Rear Glass Heating" button only.

    Original right buttons block contains "Active Park Assist" and "Rear Park Assist" buttons. It should be installed instead of the single/double block contained "Active Park Assist" button or "Rear Park Assist" button. Ford original button


    The button is used to easily start or stop the heater, to control the boost heat mode manually or to simplify module
    adjustment. Button's and LED's functions:
  		• Immediate heater start
  		• Immediate heater stop
  		• One-time boost disable
  		• One-time boost enable
  		• Button pressing confirmation by LED
  		• Indication of the boost heat mode status by LED
  		• Indication of heater's errors by LED
